    Our family is reasonably sure his parents or grandparents came from England. Everything seems to end at Stoten Stoughton. Very frustrating.   10. Updated Another Canadian, JIM DAVIES in SAVONA, B.C., Canada writes : "I have found, by a small miracle, the picture that I had mentioned on Pg.4 #7. It is the HALE vicarage in the village of HALE just outside of Liverpool. As you can see by the architecture, a young boy could have mistaken that as being a castle. Please, if anyone knows a HALE/DAVIES connection, please let me know. Also, just noticed another posting with AARON HALE. I have a nephew named AARON HALE Davies.     They had a daughter CAROLINE CATHERINE HALE born in Fordingbridge, Hampshire Jan 5, 1874. She was about 1 year old when her father died. Her mother went to Canada in 1889 and married again there.
